Applications for this day are now closed. All five places have been filled and everyone who applied has been contacted.

• Friday 11 September 2026, 9.00am to 4.30pm, in London.
• Travel is covered.
• BSL interpreters will be in attendance.

What Happens on the Day

CrewHQ Careers Days shine a spotlight on careers behind the camera, for a specially invited audience of young people from schools, colleges and other organisations around the UK. In-person attendance is strictly by invitation only, so these five places are the way in.

The day opens with a special screening of the film, followed by a Q&A panel with key crew members who worked on the production, and with members of the CrewHQ trainee alumni who got to work on the show.

The afternoon is given to in-depth workshops, taking a deeper dive into various aspects of the film’s production. These often use costumes, props and behind the scenes material, for a rare glimpse into how these films come together.

About the Film

CrewHQ is teaming up with the makers of the eagerly anticipated Practical Magic 2. Produced by Sandra Bullock, Denise Di Novi and Nicole Kidman, and directed by Susanne Bier, it promises a welcome return to the Owens’ house and the lives of its remarkable sisters.

It was made at the iconic Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, and champions the talent and creativity of British film making.
