We’re looking for Film Academy alumni to be the faces of the Hub online, presenting our new video podcast and the video content for our online courses.
- Paid on a freelance basis, with travel and expenses covered.
- Filmed in the podcast suite at StoryPoint, Rural Media’s building in Hereford.
- Register your interest by Sunday 25 October 2026.
- Open to BFI Film Academy alumni.
- As with all our roles, you’ll need a DBS check and safeguarding training before you start.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be the faces and voices of our video podcast. It’s there to make the route into film and TV clearer: celebrating what young creatives from the region have achieved, talking honestly about the challenges, and exploring the industry from the point of view of the people trying to get in.
In the same sessions, you’ll interview our guests from the industry for the video content in our online courses.
We’re looking for presenters who can do this consistently, so the podcast grows with you and your voices become part of it.
Is It for You?
If the BFI Film Academy has helped you on your journey, and you’d be confident and happy to share your experiences on camera, this is for you.
How It Works
- Register your interest below by Sunday 25 October and tell us why you think this would suit you.
- We’ll be in touch with everyone who registers about the next steps.
- These are freelance roles, which we’ll review as the programme grows. Travel and expenses are covered, and you claim them through the Hub.
