We’re looking for Film Academy alumni to help us build the Hub, so more young people across the West Midlands find it, join in and feel welcome.
- One or two ambassadors in each Introductory Course area.
- Paid on a freelance basis, with travel and expenses covered.
- Open to BFI Film Academy alumni aged 18 and over.
- As with all our roles, you’ll need a DBS check and safeguarding training before you start.
What You’ll Do
Online
- help build the Hub Community: welcoming new members, starting conversations and sharing what’s happening
- join our live online sessions, so young people hear from someone who’s been there
Our live sessions run in the evening from the studio at StoryPoint in Hereford, finishing around 8pm. The first is Hub Live on Tuesday 27 October, our live online introduction to the BFI Film Academy Hub, with a rehearsal on Thursday 22 October. We’d love ambassadors to join us for both.
In Person
You may also visit schools, colleges and recruitment events with the Hub team, and come along to Hub events in your area.
The Four Areas
- Herefordshire & Worcestershire
- Stoke & Staffordshire
- Sandwell & Birmingham
- Walsall & Wolverhampton
Apply
Tell us which area you’d represent, when you’re usually free, and why you’d be great at it. These are freelance roles, which we’ll review as the programme grows. Travel and expenses are covered, and you claim them through the Hub.
