Help shape what the BFI Film Academy Hub does across the West Midlands. Our Advisory Group brings together Film Academy alumni from across the whole region who want a say in the opportunities we create for young people getting into film.
- Paid on a freelance basis, with travel and expenses covered.
- Meets once a month.
- Open to BFI Film Academy alumni aged 18 and over, from across the West Midlands.
- As with all our roles, you’ll need a DBS check and safeguarding training before you start.
- Applications close on Sunday 1 November 2026.
What the Group Does
Each month, the group looks at:
- the opportunities we’re developing
- how the Hub platform is working
- how well we’re reaching and engaging our community
Is It for You?
If you believe the BFI Film Academy and the Hub can open real doors into film for young people, and you want to help shape what that looks like, we’d love to hear from you. These are freelance roles, which we’ll review as the programme grows, and you claim travel and expenses through the Hub.
New to the Hub? Register with Our Hub first, and tell us you’ve done a BFI Film Academy course. Once you’re signed in, you can apply here.
